The construction and real estate industry is facing an exciting period ahead, with a strong focus on working towards climate neutrality. One way to achieve this is by reducing the amount of plastic materials used in construction. CORECO has supported CEMFOAM in their development of foam concrete as an alternative to the use of cellular plastics (styrene) in various applications.
CEMFOAM also has the advantage of reducing transportation needs, as production takes place directly at the construction site. Another benefit is that it is significantly safer from a fire safety perspective. In summary, we see many opportunities for CEMFOAM moving forward.
